Hi, I'm Ray,
Experienced, reliable, and totally animal-obsessed.
I’m a 31-year-old lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs, cats, and horses—and I’m more than happy to work with birds, reptiles, and other pets too. I specialize in personalized, in-home care that keeps your animals safe, relaxed, and on their routine while you're away or busy.
I’ve worked extensively with senior pets, reactive dogs, aggressive cats, disabled animals, and those needing end-of-life comfort care. I’m also experienced with behavioral challenges* and comfortable using tools like muzzles when needed. While I’m not a trainer, I know how to handle a wide range of personalities and needs with patience, empathy, and respect.
I currently have a dog of my own and have shared my life with many animals over the years, so I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust. Whether you need drop-in visits, dog walks, overnight care while you're out of town, or help with a new puppy, I offer flexible, thoughtful care that fits your pet's unique needs. I don’t offer boarding, but I do provide dependable in-home service that keeps your pets happy where they’re most comfortable.
Think of me as your pet’s new favorite person (after you, of course). Let’s connect and create a care plan that works best for your animals and your schedule!
*Please note: I do not work with animals that have an extensive bite history.
Why “Red Dog”?
Red is my dog—a four-year-old mixed breed with a strong personality and a bit of a stubborn streak. He’s reactive, and we’ve spent a lot of time working through his challenges with consistency, structure, and a whole lot of patience. Helping him feel safer and more confident has taught me a lot about meeting animals where they’re at, especially those that need a little extra understanding.
He’s been with me through a lot and is a big part of why I started this business. Red Dog Animal Services is named for him, but it’s built for all kinds of pets and the people who care about them.

Lets Meet!
Before booking any services, I require a meet and greet with all pet owners (and their pets) to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. This gives us a chance to talk through your pet’s needs, routines, quirks, and any special considerations in person. I want to make sure you feel comfortable, your pets feel safe, and we’re all on the same page before moving forward.
